This is argument argument directed at the man. The Argumentum ad Hominem is a circumstantial form in which a person argues against his opponent to accept a certain truth because the circumstance which the opponent is in.

For example not advocating for people to kill animals for food yet the one saying is in leather shoes. This means that the abusive charge is inconsistent. This fallacy therefore rejects the conclusion. The same illogical conclusion can also be examined when one argues that positive discrimination is a bad thing yet his discrimination of other races is basically for his own selfish ends.

In establishing the truth of various fallacies within the argumentum ad human, critical thinking is essential. This is because arguments have errors. Logical thinking involves giving reasons to support the conclusion. The truth of a conclusion can only be an arrived when there is critically thinking in both the premises and claims (Damer, 2000,pp 67).
