NEW YORK, NY — Now you can get papa Johns sand paper in the new online graph paper contest sponsored by MTV News.
The online competition for the Sandpaper of the Year was announced Monday, Feb. 16, at MTV’s annual Pop Culture Summit in New York.
Entries are open now through Feb. 22, and the winners will be announced on Feb. 29.
The contest is open to anyone, but MTV News has partnered with the award-winning website The Paper, which created the contest.
Entrants will be given a free Sandpaper for their entries, which can be signed and mailed to the winner.
MTV News also sponsored the contest, which was hosted by the MTV Video Music Awards and sponsored by Pop Culture Trends, the world’s largest online community for people and brands interested in collecting, presenting and discussing art, music and culture.
This is MTV News’ sixth online contest and third sponsored by The Paper.
Previous winners have included “The Paper” by the French satirical magazine, and “Paper People” by pop singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams.
MTV also announced earlier this year it would award $1 million to a student who creates a paper from a blank piece of paper.
