The man who allegedly took Kirkland paper towel deliveries in the Seattle area is no stranger to theft.
But that was until this week, when his name was revealed.ABC News Seattle found out the man was in Kirkland, Washington, with a woman who claimed to be his niece.
The two then met up with a local police officer and she gave a statement about her cousin taking the paper towels from her aunt.
ABC News Seattle reached out to Kirkland Police, who told ABC News that the suspect is not believed to be the same man who is seen in a video posted on YouTube on Nov. 22.
Kirkland police Lt.
Jim Dyer said in an email to ABC News, “It’s unclear whether the person seen in the video was the same person who was seen in other videos posted on social media.”
Kirkland officers also confirmed that the man in the viral video is not the same suspect in other clips they’ve received.
The suspect in the Kirkland video is no longer in Kirklond.
ABC reports that Kirkland officials are trying to determine if the suspect was on the street the night the Kirklonds were robbed.
“We have not had any indication that he was on our streets at that time,” Dyer wrote.
The man in question has not yet been arrested.
