To make the cake, you’re going to want to make two different versions: one that uses cake flour (you’ll use this version for the cake) and another that uses a cake batter.
The cake batter will make the final product more cake-like, but the cake flour will make it easier to spread out.
You will also want to keep in mind that your cake will be slightly thinner than the coffee cake recipe, so it will take a little longer to bake.
The longer you bake, the better your coffee cake will taste.

And if you`re going to make the coffee cakes at home, make sure to do them ahead of time, because you`ll need to cut them into squares before you put them in the freezer.
If they don`re ready to go, you might want to give them a rest for a couple hours before baking.
